We put the “Shh” back in Shibumi”. Featuring our all new Quiet™ Canopy that stays near silent in high winds. We spent more than two years developing the perfect custom fabric with added stretch to significantly reduce noise.

The Shibumi Shade goes with the flow. It’s wind powered® and crafted to float effortlessly on the ocean breeze. Because it Works With The Wind, Not Against It®, it won’t break or blow away. How cool is that? Easily portable (even fits in a carry-on suitcase!), lightweight (approximately 4 lbs) and a breeze to set up & take down, the Shibumi Shade makes beach days better.

Placement of wind-driven shading devices is allowed anywhere on the beach strand from cabana-line towards the ocean in the areas: from 3rd street access EASTWARD towards OIB and from 29th Street WESTWARD towards Bird Island. Use of the Wind Assist devices will require you to be on the back row aka "Cabana Row" which the back of that "row" is the imaginary line from trashcan pole to trashcan pole.

Shibumi Shades are not returnable. If there is a problem with the poles, we've got you with free replacement poles. Any other issues you will have to contact Shibumi directly (they are awesome guys and will do their best to make you happy).

You are responsible for checking with the jurisdiction of the beach(es) you plan to use the Shibumi Shade BEFORE you purchase a Shibumi or Shibumi Mini.
